A freight train derailment on the east end Steel Bridge is causing sweeping MAX-line delays around Portland Monday morning as the bridge remains closed to all traffic.

A freight train derailed at the east end of the Steel Bridge early Monday morning, the Portland Police Bureau said. There were no injuries reported. The bridge was closed to all traffic for several hours.
