Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. challenged President Joe Biden Wednesday to sign a "No Spoiler Pledge" in which one of them would drop out after the results of a poll in October to see who would do better against Donald Trump in a head-to-head contest.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called on President Joe Biden on Wednesday to take a “no-spoiler pledge” in mid-October, in which both candidates would agree to fund a 50-state poll and the weakest candidate in a head-to-head matchup against former President Donald Trump vows to drop out of the race ahead of the election.

RFK Jr. floated the “no spoiler pledge” as the Trump campaign has ramped up its attacks on Kennedy Jr. following a string of polls that show he would draw more votes from Trump than Biden.

Kennedy then called on Biden to take a “No Spoiler Pledge,” and withdraw from the race if he were to perform worse than Kennedy in a head-to-head matchup with Trump in a 30,000-plus person poll in mid-October.
