Pound-for-pound king Terence Crawford will challenge 154-pound beltholder Israil Madrimov on Aug. 3 in Los Angeles, ESPN is reporting.

This follows news that Jermell Charlo, who was named champion in recess by the WBA, would be invoking his right to face Madrimov, who won the vacant title on Mar. 8, stopping Magomed Kurbanov in the fifth round.

Terence Crawford and Israil Madrimov have reached agreement on a deal to fight for Madrimov's WBA junior middleweight title on Aug. 2 in Los Angeles, sources told ESPN's Mike Coppinger.More to come.
