UT campus unrest has cast a dark cloud over the state's flagship as impacted students struggle through final exams.

Arrests resumed Monday at the University of Texas at Austin amid ongoing demonstrations in support of Palestinians. Dozens of protesters gathered on campus where there was a sizable police presence, including officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the University of Texas police department.

One tactic used by protestors to make their messages heard is to form encampments on their campuses. Encampments have popped up at colleges across the nation, including Columbia University, George Washington University, Virginia Tech, the University of Texas at Austin and others.

The University of Texas in Austin issued a suspension for its students involved in the Palestine Solidarity Committee following its on-campus protest.

Over half of anti-Israel protestors arrested at the University of Texas in Austin during a protest earlier this week were adults with no ties to the Univeristy rather than students, according to a report.
