An appeals court dismissed charges against a Michigan election worker who put a flash drive into an electronic poll book and downloaded the names of voters in 2022.

The Michigan Court of Appeals has thrown out the criminal case against a Kent County election worker who was accused of taking voter information in the August 2022 election, ruling that his actions did not violate the letter of Michigan law.
