After a woeful first half where they gave up three bad goals, the Union scored twice in quick succession in the second. But there was never a third.

Philadelphia Union faced off against Seattle Sounders FC on Tuesday night at Subaru Park, falling 3-2. Raul Ruidiaz opened up the scoring for Seattle in the 13th minute. Seattle extended their lead in the 22nd minute when Obed Vargas found the back of the net.

Technically, the MLS records will show that Tuesday the Philadelphia Union and Seattle Sounders resumed their March 9 match in the 6th minute. The Union didn’t manage to show up until the 40th or so.
