Stanley Cup runner-up Florida Panthers are off to a strong start in the 2024 NHL playoffs. The Atlantic Division champion Panthers ousted the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 5 Monday night. The Lightning had won back-to-back championships in 2020 and 2021 and lost in the 2022 final and had won both of the previous playoff series against Florida.
