Bitcoin on Thursday hit its highest level since February, climbing back above the key $100,000 level. The price of the flagship cryptocurrency was last higher by nearly 5% at $100,881.90, according to Coin Metrics.

Shares of Strategy, Coinbase and other stocks tied to bitcoin soared on Thursday as the price of the digital currency surpassed $100,000 for the first time since early February.
