A 13-year-old girl from Pixley has been arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot up a school in Delano, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies say they were called around 1 p.m. on Thursday for a school threat to the Wonderful Prep Academy in the 2000 block of Veneto in Delano.

According to police, the child explained that he made the threat because he was mad at his teacher for not letting him submit past-due work.
