Joe Castiglione, whose four decades of broadcasting Boston Red Sox games earned him a place in the National Baseball Hall of Fame, will be honored Sunday at Fenway Park as he transitions into retirement.

The Boston Red Sox announced that they will be celebrating Hall of Fame Broadcaster Joe Castiglione in pregame ceremonies on Sunday, September 29. Mayor Michelle Wu has also designated September 29 as “Joe Castiglione Day.
