A Michigan man who won $1 million in a scratch-off lottery game was so overwhelmed with excitement, he had to check his blood pressure.

A Newaygo County man is wealthier after winning Michigan Lottery's $1,000,000 Extravaganza instant game, state officials announced Friday. The 55-year-old bought his $10 ticket at a gas station at 136 South Maple in Grant, about 20 miles north of Mount Pleasant, officials said in a statement.
