Storms that form in western Siouxland toward sunset will move east and give most of the KTIV viewing area a chance of some severe weather into early Thursday morning.

A cold front colliding with very warm, humid air brings the threat of severe storms to West Michigan on Thursday. FOX 17 is issuing a Weather Ready Alert for this coming system.

The threat for severe storms will then really increase Friday into Friday night as low pressure drags a front through here. Waves of strong to severe storms will be moving across the region during this time with the possibility of damaging winds, large hail and even a few tornadoes.
