Small red blossoms steal the show in early spring even before the red-tinged green leaves emerge. These maple leaves mature to solid green before turning a bold crimson red in fall. This tough red maple is cold hardy and adaptable. It is drought tolerant once established and can tolerate wet soil. This lovely tree makes an excellent street tree because of its high tolerance for air pollution. The American Red Maple tree is easy to grow and requires no maintenance once it is established. This fast growing shade tree offers fast shade for the home landscape. Our American Red Maple is the Brandywine, a seedless variety of red maple. It is referred to as a "male selection" because it does not produce seeds. Key Features: Fall color. The Red Maple tree offers vibrant red foliage in autumn. Easy to grow.
