The Champion Power Equipment 5500-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator with CO Shield is the perfect combination of versatility and convenience. The Champion 389cc OHV engine features low oil shutdown, Cold Start Technology & easily switches between gasoline & propane fuel Produces 6,875 starting watts and 5,500 running watts using gasoline, and will run for 11 hours at 50% load when the 7.7-gallon fuel tank is full Produces 6,250 starting watts and 5,000 running watts, and will run for 6.5 hours at 50% load when using a 20-pound propane tank. Also included is a 6.5-foot propane hose with a built-in regulator. The Intelligauge with Power Meter monitors voltage, frequency, operating hours and power output, while Volt Guard™ built-in surge protector prevents overloads. All the outlets have covers for protection and include a 120/240V 30A locking outlet (L14-30R) as well as four 120V 20A GFCI protected household outlets (5-20R). CO Shield® technology monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide (CO), a poisonous gas produced by engine exhaust when the generator is running. If CO Shield® detects unsafe elevated levels of CO gas, it automatically shuts off the engine. This generator is EPA certified and CARB compliant.
