Description

Autumn Angel from Encore Azalea produces clear white blooms Spring, Summer and Fall. Each bloom measures roughly 3 inches across. An initial Spring display produces dozens of blooms that illuminate the landscape, accentuated by its dark, glossy, green foliage. Additionally, these evergreen leaves are consistent all year long, and wont leave your landscape bare in the dead of Winter. This low-growing, evergreen azalea is perfect for foundation plantings, container plantings, accents, mixed garden beds, low hedges, and borders. It's hardy in USDA Zones 7-10. Autumn Angel grows best when it receives 4-6 hours of direct sun, or all day filtered sun. Too little sun will result in decreased bloom potential and foliage coverage. Water 2-3 times per week for the first growing season. During the second growing season, water 1-2 times per week. The Autumn Angel prefers rich, acidic soil with good drainage. Azaleas dont like to have wet feet, so make sure that your soil isnt staying soggy for hours on end after watering. Fertilize a couple times throughout the year with an acidic plant fertilizer for best results. This will help ensure that your Autumn Angel Encore Azalea stays happy and healthy. Plant your Encore Azaleas 2 feet apart for seamless foliage. Alternatively, space them over 3 feet apart to let their natural growth habit shine through.
