This Raypak B-R406A Digital Pool and Spa Heater is 399,000 BTUs, is fueled by natural gas, and features bronze headers, cupro-nickel heat exchanger tube, and ASME certification. These salt water friendly ASME heaters are for commercial installations up to 2,000 feet and also feature condensation protection and PolyTuf Textured Powder Coating. They meet the ASME pressure vessel requirements demanded by code for commercial installations over 200,000 BTUH and are certified to the ANSI Z21.56 pool heater standard. The heat exchanger on this model has been upgraded to cupro-nickel because it highly resistant to salt water. The rugged bronze headers provide the strength that tough ASME requirements demand. Together they made the perfect ASME certified commercial pool heater for salt water pools. The digital electronic controls require external power (120V or 240V) and generates a pilot only when there is a call for heat. These controls provide simple setup and easy programming. The diagnostics are easy to understand and the control system that can easily be tied into an existing remote system. These Raypak ASME heaters have a Unitherm Governor inside the heater that helps reduce condensation from low inlet water temperatures. It automatically regulates the water flow to help keep the water temperature in the heat exchanger above 105 degrees F. Both water temperature and water flow rate are controlled to eliminate condensation, sooting, and scale build-up that can shorten heater life. A set of two inch slip fit CPVC water connections is standard with every digital pool and spa heater. These connections will make your installation secure and effortless. Built to withstand various weather conditions, this modern pool heater is the perfect solution for environments requiring efficiency, convenience and versatility. Energy-smart Raypak heaters consistently achieve the highest efficiency ratings and the Raypak Digital is no exception. It exceeds all federal and state standards. And every Raypak gas pool heater is plumbed and test fired before it is put in the carton.
