The standard external bypass uses a thermostatically-controlled valve to adjust bypass flow and achieve cold-water protection. The Hi Delta heaters are fan-assisted combustion units. This heater has a patented burner "security blanket." This ingenious enhancement provides a perfected air-gas pathway for complete combustion. The Hi Delta are the most adaptable sealed-combustion boiler on the market today. Adding to the Hi Delta features are the Versa IC Controls and On-board Diagnostic Center. This key enhancement allows an on-site technician to quickly review the unit's entire fault history, in easy to understand English (no cryptic codes). This Diagnostic Center even offers possible solutions to the problem at hand. All Hi Delta models are Indoor/Outdoor certified. When placing the heater inside, the versatility is revealed in a smaller vent diameter and direct venting. There are multiple vertical venting and sidewall venting options.
