The Undaunted® Ruby Muhly Grass is a wonderful late-season ornamental grass that has soft, hair-like leaves and many spikes of flowers from late summer all through fall. These are dusky red-pink to ruby-red, and glow entrancingly in the fall sunlight. Add a beautiful late season lift to your garden beds, or grow it among rocks, on slopes, and in dry places around your garden. It forms a dense clump and is entirely non-invasive. - Beautiful ruby-red flower spikes from late summer all through fall - Graceful clump of hair-like leaves - Clump forming, so it never spreads and takes over your beds - Very drought resistant and ideal for xeric gardens - More cold resistant than other varieties Full sun and well-drained soil are needed for the Undaunted® Ruby Muhly Grass, which should not be grown in soil that is frequently moist. It is free of pests or diseases and entirely untouched by deer, and well as being extremely drought-resistant once it is established. Established clumps should be trimmed back in early spring, before new leaves begin to grow.
