Queen Camilla and King Charles were joined by the king’s brother, Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, along with the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester for the day’s festivities.

Buckingham Palace has shared a rare update on how King Charles is doing after his cancer diagnosis. According to the statement shared by the palace, Charles is expected to start easing back into his public duties. The statement said he will pay a visit to a local cancer treatment center to meet with specialists and patients.

Britain’s King Charles III will resume public duties next week for the first time since his cancer diagnosis almost three months ago, Buckingham Palace announced.

The King spoke warmly with many of the attendees as he joined other royal family members at the event on Wednesday.

King Charles has continued his return to work, hosting the first Buckingham Palace Garden Party of the season. The monarch was joined by his wife, Queen Camilla, his sister, Princess Anne and his youngest brother,
