Samsung is rolling out a new One UI 6.1-based update to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. It is a smaller package than the original build released last week. The update likely brings some bug fixes.

As for what this update adds, that depends a bit on which phone you’re using. According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting the same AI features as you’ll find on the Samsung Galaxy S24.

Samsung has officially opened the floodgates for its One UI 6.1 update which is now rolling out the Galaxy S22, Fold 4, and Flip 4 globally.

Samsung announced it has begun pushing out One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy S22 series, Fold 4, Flip 4, and Tab S8 series.

One UI 6.1 is rolling out to many older Samsung flagships, like the Galaxy S22, S21, Z Fold 4, and Fold 3. The update introduces Galaxy AI and several of its features, such as Live Translation, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, and Chat Assist. Older Galaxy devices may not have full access to Galaxy AI features due to hardware limitations.

After promising to bring One UI 6.1 to more devices, Samsung is now rolling out the update to older Galaxy phones.
