A new wildfire was reported today at 9:28 p.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. At this time, the containment status is unknown and the cause of the fire remains undetermined.

Disaster Unemployment Assistance Deadline Extended The deadline to apply for federal Disaster Unemployment Assistance due to the recent wildfires has been extended to June 10, 2025. All required documentation must be submitted within 90 days from the date listed on the mailed notice advising a support document is needed.
