Philadelphia Eagles fans certainly should be excited about the team right now after a very successful offseason.

Mitchell is projected to start opposite veteran cornerback Darius Slay if things go well throughout the offseason. That leaves many wondering what the Eagles plan to do with Slays old partner, James Bradberry. It will be too expensive to release Bradberry, so the Eagles could still be trying to trade him.

The Eagles head coach spoke to reporters after Day 1 of the rookie camp and is excited to get back out on the field.

Eagles rookies haven’t played very much in recent seasons and there are a few reasons for that. One is that they have a pretty strong group of veterans on this roster. The other is that Nick Sirianni has clearly shown deference to those veterans.
