China is backing Russia's war effort in Ukraine by helping Moscow in its biggest military buildup since the Soviet era, providing drone and missile technology, satellite imagery and machine tools, senior U.

China insists it "has always maintained an objective and impartial position" on Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Yet, contrary to these words of assurance, China is aiding and abetting Russia's war of aggression against the Ukrainian people.

In Ukraine, 87 combat clashes were recorded within a day. Multi-story and private houses, as well as other infrastructure objects, suffered destruction and damage, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
