Lijuan “Angela” Chen, 51, of Walnut pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States and use of counterfeit postage, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California said in an April 26 news release.

A San Gabriel Valley woman pleaded guilty to defrauding over $150 million from the U.S. Postal Service. Lijuan “Angela” Chen, 51, of Walnut, carried out the scheme by using counterfeit postage to ship tens of millions of packages, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The Postal Service has issued a new $1 Floral Geometry stamp, the latest offering in the organization’s Floral Geometry collection. The $1 stamp joins similar $2 and $5 stamps issued in 2022 and a $10 stamp issued in 2023.
