The lawsuit comes after AT&T announced earlier this month the data of "nearly all" customers was downloaded to a third-party platform in a security breach.

The suit follows another class-action lawsuit filed in July that shares some of the same contentions. Both suits allege that AT&T failed to safeguard customer data.
