(Reuters) - President Joe Biden will sit down with BET News for an interview that will air on Wednesday to discuss issues impacting the Black community, BET said in a statement on Saturday.
President Biden faced criticism online after he appeared to forget the name of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, only referring to him as a “Black man" in an interview with BET.
In the same interview, Biden said that he feels the need to run again. BET News / CBS News Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Wednesday became the 21st House Democrat to call on Biden to step aside.
