(Reuters) -Berkshire Hathaway sold about 33.9 million shares of Bank of America for around $1.48 billion over multiple transactions this week, a regulatory filing showed.
Berkshire now holds a roughly 12.4% stake in the banking giant worth $39.5 billion based on Monday’s closing price. Bank of America shares were down 1.4% Monday to $41.09.
Despite trimming its stake, Berkshire owns roughly 961.65 million Bank of America shares, valued at about $39.51 billion at Bank of America's closing price Monday of $41.09.
