Family members of four victims killed in the Monterey Park mass shooting two years ago, as well as one survivor, have filed lawsuits against the estate of the shooter and the dance studio where the killings took place.

The city of Monterey Park hosted a candlelight vigil Tuesday night to mark the second anniversary of a mass shooting in the city that left 11 people dead. The event honored the memory of those who died in the Jan.

A candlelight vigil is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on the front lawn of Monterey Park City Hall, 320 W Newmark Ave. The city said members of the public can leave flowers and other memorial items near the flag pole in front of city hall.
