The Philadelphia Eagles are going on the road to the White House. After defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59,  the Eagles have been invited to celebrate their big win with President Donald Trump.

President Donald Trump watched the Eagles dominate the Chiefs in person in Super Bowl LIX. On Monday he'll celebrate the team at the White House.

The Super Bowl MVP avoided the question during a Time magazine event Thursday night. The team is scheduled to meet with President Trump on Monday.

“The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow,” a statement from the president read. “They disagree with their president because he insists that they proudly stand for the national anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country.

Promptly after winning Super Bowl LIX, the Eagles said they would be honored to visit the White House. An invitation was officially announced in March.

The Philadelphia Eagles are finally getting their moment to visit the White House on April 28 for winning the Super Bowl after their previous trip was abruptly canceled by President Donald Trump back in 2018.

While the Eagles declined to visit President Donald Trump's White House in 2018, team owner Jeffrey Lurie looks forward to this year's trip "We just felt this is a time-honored tradition, being invited by the White House,” Lurie told reporters. “There was no reticence whatsoever. To be celebrated at the White House is a good thing."

The Philadelphia Eagles have been invited back to the White House after their latest Super Bowl victory, but it appears that Jalen Hurts' appearance will be a game-time decision.

In March, the Philadelphia Eagles announced their intention to visit the White House in celebration of their Super Bowl LIX championship, dispelling rumors they planned to forgo such a ceremony. With the 2025 NFL Draft now in the books,
