Happy Friday, expect a hot weather pattern well into the weekend. Temperatures will increase each day with afternoon highs on Sunday, Father’s Day, between 8 to 12 degrees above normal. There is an extreme warning for Sunday because the temperature is expected to be 108 degrees.

Certain regions in the United States will have to deal with extreme heat on Father's Day. An Extreme Heat Warning is issued by the National Weather Service when extremely dangerous heat conditions are expected or occurring.

An extreme heat warning goes into effect Monday at 10 a.m. until Tuesday at 10 p.m. due to dangerously hot conditions for early June. Monday temperatures will reach into the triple digits, ranging from 105 to 110 degrees,
