George Foreman died at the age of 76 on Friday, March 21, his family announced. Foreman was a two-time boxing heavyweight champion. He also sold a line of successful grills named after himself.

George Foreman, the legendary boxer who set a record as the oldest-ever heavyweight champion, served as a minister after becoming a born again Christian, and achieved perhaps his greatest reknown as the spokesperson for a popular grill named after him, died Friday, his family announced. He was 76.

George Foreman's death is still being felt in the boxing world ... and now the filmmaker behind the "Big George Foreman" biopic is opening up on the late-heavyweight champ's impact, especially amongst the Black community.

Foreman won his first world heavyweight championship in 1973 and lost it a year later to Muhammad Ali in the famous Rumble in the Jungle fight.
