Five Israeli soldiers were killed in a roadside bomb attack in Gaza overnight after a second round of ceasefire negotiations in Qatar. An Israeli security official said two explosive devices were detonated against soldiers during an operation in the Beit Hanoun area of northern Gaza, killing five soldiers and injuring 14 more.

At least 13 Palestinians were killed and several others injured early Saturday as Israeli warplanes and artillery struck multiple locations across the Gaza Strip, including areas sheltering displaced families.

Israeli airstrikes and shootings killed 94 Palestinians in Gaza late Wednesday and Thursday, including 45 who were attempting to get much-needed humanitarian aid, hospitals and the Health Ministry said Thursday.
