A man died at the hospital hours after being shot Friday morning in Kansas City’s Hyde Park area, a police spokeswoman said.

One man is dead after an argument led to a shooting on the street behind a Kansas City church over the weekend.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment after the shooting on Labor Day, however, he died one month later on Oct. 3.

The shooting was the 122nd homicide reported in Kansas City this year, according to data collected by The Star.

Police in Kansas City, Missouri, are investigating a homicide Friday night. The incident happened near East 22nd Street and Drury Avenue, police said.
