Fresh off an acquittal in his impeachment trial in the Texas Senate, Attorney General Ken Paxton threatened political revenge against three House members whom he deems responsible for trying to remove him from office.

The radio interviews came the morning after Paxton gave his first post-acquittal interview to Tucker Carlson, telling the former Fox News host he was “re-energized” after the acquittal.

The storm began just after noon, when senators were about halfway through voting on the articles of impeachment against Ken Paxton. After a two-week trial, the senator jurors had to decide whether to remove the three-term attorney general from office.
