The pausing of a Biden-era parole travel program for migrants from four countries is under renewed pressure to be shut down after revelations of fraud.

The Biden administration has paused travel authorizations for a controversial program that allows tens of thousands of migrants to arrive in the U.S. each month.

The program, which could start as soon as contracts are finalized, will involve an undetermined number of migrants and could last until June 30, 2025.

The bill says that any transportation plans would need to be under the “direct control and supervision” of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
