Ukraine’s military said that Russia has launched its most intense drone attack since the beginning of the war in 2022, and has targeted the capital city for over six hours. Kyiv was the main target in the attack,

"Ukrainian forces maintain the initiative in key areas of southern Ukraine," the Institute for the Study of War said in its report.

Russia has suffered enormous losses on Ukraine's eastern front as Vladimir Putin's forces continue to attempt to storm the embattled city of Avdiivka in a bloody human wave campaign.
