The Japanese Consulate in San Francisco says one of the people killed in a campus shooting in Las Vegas has been identified as a Japanese woman in her 60s.

Law enforcement says four faculty members at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, were shot — three fatally. Officials released the names of two of those killed and say the gunman was a former professor. CBS News' Omar Villafranca reports.

CNN was told the investigative theory on a possible motive is that Polito sought a position at UNLV but was not hired. The suspect had worked for schools in Georgia and North Carolina, a law enforcement source told CNN.
