Former FBI Director James Comey has been interviewed by the Secret Service about a social media post that Republicans suggested was a call for violence against President Donald Trump.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says the Secret Service is reviewing an Instagram post by former FBI Director James Comey that some may consider a threat to the president.

Several Trump allies accused the former FBI director of calling for the president's assassination in his '8647' post. Comey denied it was meant as a threat.
