Two Springfield City School District elementary schools were evacuated and a middle school was closed Friday morning after bomb threats against the buildings were made, according to school officials.

The announcement was made by Superintendent Kelly Wilmore on Tuesday that all public schools in Grayson County will remain closed until October 14.

Announcements are coming in from schools, colleges around the Upstate. Many won't be resuming class until Monday.
