The man charged with attempting to assassinate Donald Trump after allegedly positioning himself with a rifle outside one of the former president's Florida golf courses on Sept. 15 pleaded not guilty on Monday to five federal charges.

The suspect in the second apparent assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump will be arraigned in a Florida courtroom Monday. Ryan Routh was already facing weapons charges, but has since been charged with trying to carry out the plot to shoot the former president.
