US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff, President Donald Trump’s international envoy, held high level talks with Ukrainian and European officials in Paris at a summit Thursday aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s defenses against Russia’s unrelenting invasion.

Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and top diplomat Marco Rubio will hold talks with European counterparts in Paris later on Thursday to discuss efforts to end the war in Ukraine. Ukraine's foreign minister and defence minister have arrived in the French capital to take part in the discussions.

Ukraine and the US will hold in-person negotiations. However, this will take place after documents that both sides can agree on are developed, stated Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Brusylov.
