On Thursday, the US and UAE signed an agreement for the Gulf country to build the largest AI campus outside the US. The UAE’s state-owned tech group, G42, plans to operate the campus.
The AI agreement “includes the UAE committing to invest in, build, or finance US data centres that are at least as large and as powerful as those in the UAE”, the White House said.
The partnership comes as BigBear.ai demonstrates revenue growth of 9.4% in the last twelve months, though InvestingPro data indicates analysts don’t expect profitability this year.
