3 Gal. Schillings Holly - Dwarf Yaupon Shrub - Drought Tolerant
See more belowSorry, We couldn't find this product
Description
The Schillings Holly is an evergreen shrub with a dense rounded form, and gives the impression of being professionally cut without the formal cutting! The Ilex Schilling Shrub features dark green, oval-shaped leaves that have a reddish tint when the plants are young. The leaves grow on silvery gray branches and give year-round interest. In the spring you may see small white flowers that are somewhat inconspicuous. Female plants feature bright red berries after the flowers and attract birds and other wildlife. The Dwarf Yaupon maintains its dense rounded form, making it perfect as a small hedge, border plants, or foundation plantings. Salt tolerant and drought tolerant once established, the Schilling often forms into a thick, low-maintenance, and uniformly green groundcover. Perfect for any seaside planting or mass planting.
