The Autumn Ivory™ Encore® Azalea is a fantastic, compact, repeat-blooming evergreen azalea that is the perfect size and color for mass planting anywhere in your garden. Its pure-white flowers can never clash with the foliage or flower colors of your other plants, so it fits in everywhere. It grows just 2½ feet tall, so it ideal mass-planted as foundation planting around your home, under trees, or in sunny or shady beds anywhere at all. Grow it as an edging for a path or driveway, or as a border along a larger bed. It will bloom profusely in spring and again in fall, as well as producing flowers all summer long. For almost-continuous blooming on compact, evergreen bushes, it simply cannot be beaten. - Pure-white blooms in spring, summer and fall - Compact, dome-shaped plant just 2½ feet tall - Grows well in all light conditions, from sun to shade - Ideal neutral-colored foundation plant - Vigorous and rapid growth The Autumn Ivory Encore Azalea grows outdoors in zones 7, 8 and 9, and it can also be grown in pots, overwintered in a bright, cool place, so that wherever you live you can enjoy this fabulous plant. It will grow in full sun, partial-shade, or dappled, light full-shade. Plant it in acidic soil, with a pH value of 6.5 or lower, and mulch with peat-moss in spring. If you dont have suitable soil, grow it in pots or planters, using potting soil for acid-loving plants, and fertilizer designed for azalea growing. This plant has no significant pests or diseases, and it is very easy to grow, rapidly becoming full-sized.
