This mophead hydrangea is sure to be one of the hottest hydrangeas on the markets. This bush has large raspberry-colored flowers held upright by strong stems. The botanical name is Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bailmacfive' PPAF and is a cross between Hydrangea macrophylla 'Hot Red' & PIIHM-II . This hydrangea will bloom on new & old wood. It's a compact hydrangea blooms all summer long. The large, 3.5-5 blooms are pink or purple, depending on soil pH. Dark green foliage takes on a burgundy-red color in the fall.
