In spring, its branches are crowded with clusters of double blossoms. In summer, its heart-shaped leaves are glossy where the leaves of a standard redbud are like satin. Also, this redbud is sterile. You won't have seed pods on the tree in Summer or volunteer seedlings to weed in your landscape. This new hybrid reaches a mature height of 10 ft. to 15 ft. after 10-years making it an ideal size for today's landscapes. Like all redbuds, this one is vigorous and untroubled by disease, drought or poor soil conditions. For best results, grow in well-drained soil. Blooms in early spring. Space plants approximately 15 ft. apart for best results. Each offer includes one dormant bare root tree measuing 3 to 4 feet tall.
