Description
The name says it all almost. Unlike most jumbo hostas that are slow to start each season, Kingsize takes off quickly, its huge, deeply veined leaves unfurling to hide withering bulb foliage in the spring and shelter small pets from the summer heat. Bell shaped, lavender flowers will soon arrive, attracting hummingbirds. Plant it in a large container to make a statement on the patio, or create a shady oasis next to a pond or creek. Each offer includes 2 dormant bare root perennial plant roots. Space plants approximately 24 to 36 inches apart for best results. Flowers blooms July and September. Reaches standard mature height of 36 to 40 inches tall. Tolerates a wide range of soils, but performs best in well-drained soil.
