Commanderie de Peyrassol Cuvee De Commandeurs Cotes de Provence Rosé 2022 Cuvée "Les Commandeurs" is produced from the younger vines of the estate with some fruit purchased from neighboring grape growers through long-term contracts. Grapes are harvested at night to preserve acidity and handled carefully to prevent early maceration. On arrival at the winery, they are immediately destemmed and pressed in a closed tank. A 24 hour cold settling is followed by the alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Tasting Notes Very pale, lychee pink in color. The nose is fine and elegant. Complex, releasing white fleshed fruit and citrus fruits aromas, along with white floral notes. The palate is straightforward and clean. Fine and silky, it is soft, delicate and lively. The freshness of the finish is balanced with a subtle hint of saltiness. Pairs well with seafood such as fish soup or grilled sole. Blend: 45% Cinsault, 25% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 8% Mourvèdre, 4% Tibouren, 8% Vermentino Critical Acclaim 91 Vinous The 2022 Rosé Les Commandeurs is delicate yet captivating all the same. Chamomile complements white strawberry and young peach on the nose. This excites the palate with brilliant acidity balanced by ripe orchard fruits while taking on an inner floral resonance. Spice and citrus zest linger as the 2022 finishes fresh and crisp.
