This Red Double Knock Out Rose Bush will be a "knock out" of the park with its explosion of color all summer long!The Red Double Knock Out Rose Bush has set a new standard in disease resistance when it comes to a beautifully bright and low-maintenance bloom. It is of the same rose family as the original rose of the Knock Out Family from Star Roses and Plants.This rose plant produces rich, cherry red to hot pink blossoms that will continue to grow until the first hard frost of winter. They are fully double flowers on the shrub rose bush. The bloom cycle starts in early spring. Roses will bloom from spring until mid-summer profusely before the weather gets too hot. The bloom period will decrease slightly as fall and winter happen although it is relatively heat tolerant.The red roses contrast nicely to the dark green foliage of the flowering shrub. If grown as a flowering tree, the red blooms will cascade over the green leaves year after year. This classic rose is slightly more winter hardy than other roses but may need extra winter protection in colder areas.The rose bush features incredible resistance to black spots and powdery mildew leaf diseases and is an excellent choice as a low hedge or accent plant in mixed beds.
