Red Filigree Japanese Maple has delicate, extremely fine, lace like foliage that maintanes its deep purple red color throughout the season. Grows up to 4 feet tall and 4 feet wide in 10 years. Prefers moist well drained soil. Hardy in USDA zones 5 to 8. Little pruning is necessary, however, if needed, prune during dormant season and avoid pruning in spring when sap is running. Each offer includes one ornamental tree grown in a 1.50 gallon pot.
